An Asian inspired master bath for busy professionals...
This bathroom suffered from bad lighting, not enough storage, a tiny shower and a tub that was never used. The decision was made to keep a tub but to expand the shower to about double the size with a frameless glass surround. The vanity height is taller and has a tall cabinet to add a lot more storage, as does the cabinet over the toilet. The dark wood tone contrasts nicely with the white and light cream colors everywhere while the glass tile band adds just a touch of sparkle and visual interest. And added feature was the radiant heat system in the central area of the floor. Not much to look at but so nice to step on when the weather is cold. The overall result is a much more open feeling space that has plenty of light and storage and calming aesthetics for these busy professionals.
