Simple, comfortable design with a contemporary flair...
This was a major remodel of the downstairs of the clients home. The problem areas included the kitchen, hall and guest bathrooms, as well as the laundry/powder room. The end result combined the existing laundry room and powder room into one space, allowing the central dining room wall to open up to create one large space between the living room, dining room and kitchen. Upgrades included a whole new design with new cabinetry, countertops, fixtures and finishes, refinished flooring and stairs, new lighting, new windows, as well as paint and furnishings. The style of the decor and color pallette was driven by the homeowners own style of what they called "beachy contemporary." The overall looks is calm, clean, and very relaxing with interesting pieces of furniture with equally interesting textures and details.
